Our Story

I started my career 22 years ago in automotive smash repairs, where I first got a look into the custom car scene. I was fortunate to work in a shop that encouraged experimentation and creativity — learning the good and the bad sides of custom paint early on. That environment shaped not only my skills, but my respect for preparation, process, and durability.

After completing my apprenticeship, I moved from Orange to Sydney, working as a trade-qualified spray painter across both automotive and marine, including work on super yachts. These roles demanded precision, consistency, and finishes that had to perform in harsh environments — standards that still guide my work today.

After meeting my wife and starting a family, we relocated to Coffs Harbour, where I moved into aviation spray painting, working on helicopters. This chapter reignited my passion for custom paint. Aviation paint schemes often involve intricate striping, detailed logos, and flawless execution — all painted by hand. That level of detail and discipline brought me back to why I fell in love with painting in the first place.

During this time, custom paint became my creative outlet. For over seven years, I painted helmets and signs in my spare time, mostly as gifts for friends. What started as a hobby grew naturally as sign painting and logo work merged with another passion of mine — mountain biking. Before long, I was painting custom bike frames, combining function, durability, and individual design.
